-'Tlie Rev. J. T. Field, one of the pioneer missionaries in Papua, will visit Oaniani this week, and will deliver a lecture on his experiences in. Papua onWednesdav evening. The Hon. J. A. Millar has- been ordered to take a complete rest, and will leave for Rotorua- to undergo medical treatment to-day. The sight of his right eve is still impaired, but he hopes to be in his place in the House when the session opens. "News has been received" in Oamaru that Mr T. H. Mathicson was, on May . 29th. at Marlin. Texas, married to Miss K. Pringle. of that town.
