■■•- (Per Press Association.) .. " Dunedin, May 20. A man named Jas. W. dimming, aged 46 years, who resided at Caversfiam, died on Saturday morning, and was to have been buried to-day, but at the last minute the funeral had to be postponed. After the relatives and friends had assembled for the funeral an intimation was received from the Coroner that a post-mortem examination must be held. Deceased had been employed by the Drainage Board, and after his death the relatives served on the, Board a claim for compensation, as, in their opinion, death, was due to gas poisoning.
