Familton and Sons) report having held a most successful sale on Thursday last, on account of Mr M. S. Rvan, wlio has disposed of his farm. The day was beautifully fine, and the attendance of buyers largo from the surrounding districts. The quality of the stock and plant submitted to the hammer was good, and every lot elicited been competition and realised highly satisfactory prices. The dairy cows were a speciallv good lot, and were keenly competed for. The following, prices were obtained : —Dairy cows (just calved) £9 2s Gd, £9. £8 2s 6d, £7 12s 6d.
