The bodies of Mrs Hemphill arid .a thirteen-year-old son were'found in a. water hole at La chin n. A note was left indicating the whereabouts of the bodies. It is stated they were homeless and destitute. Last October the woman's husband committed suicide by hanging himself. A."twelve-year-old girl reports being struck down by a strange man on Monday evening, three miles from the vicinity of th'fc Woodlupine tragedy, because she refused to surrender a horse.
