UNIVERSAL PICTURES.. The programme that was submitted at the Opera House, oil Saturday after;noon and evening must have- pleased every person ■ in the large - audiences that witnessed' it. The incidental music, of; the Pathe Orchestra supplied ah excellent accompaniment to the films;. The opening picture gave views of trainers in a daring performance with 22 lions. "Scenes in "Vienna" was an extremely, interesting picture., and the many incidents depicted in the Pathe Gazette were .also "The Aerial Submarine',' was after the style of that picture the pirates of 1920, but was perhaps.not so well got up. The-.dramas were all-of an excel-' lent description, the best being "The Bearded Bandit," "Tho Stronger Tie, and "A: Fight for Millions." The comedies were extremely amusing. '/After tire. Ball,"- an A.B. comedy., "Daddy's Diddum's Did It," and "Foolshead as Inspector of Hygiene'; caused much laughter. Another new programme is promised for Thursday.-.
