VERY SATISFACTORY PROGRESS

Dunedin, May 10. Favored by excellent weather, the .street collection in aid of the fund for providing a women's- ward at the hospital was highly successful to-day. .A KrSuig band of collectors was busy in the main thoroughfares from 8 a.m. till 1 p.m., and at 10.30 a -.procession of .:eotor cars, headed by Mr..Hugh J.t Ward's company, and- containing a' large number of collectors, mostly' i>ur.' : -?.-, traversed the principal streets, ;in which large crowds had congregated...
