THE RAILWAY DEPARTMENT AND MR CLAUDE.
(Per Press Association.) Wellington, May 11. In regard to recognition of Claude's services for his prompt action in averting a collision between a runaway train and the Main Trunk express, the Railway Department states that the matter is under consideration and that no action of any kind has yet been taken.
