Gazette says the immigration statistics were a feature of Sir !G. Reid's paper. It points out that the i gain-- of 37,500 in. 1910 was only little | better than nothing when the vast .spaces were considered: It was still 'the-urgent duty of the State Governments to encourage immigration.
