Members of the Kia Ora Literary and Debating Society will meet on Tuesday, loth inst., at 8 p.m., to receive the annual report, etc. The ladies will provide tefreshments. An advertisement in this issue announces that Messrs M. M'Fadgen and Co. have decided to clear the whole of their stock of furniture, bedding, furnishings, etc. The sale will commence on Thursday, 11th, and will run for one month. Over fourteen thousand pounds worth of "Overland" cars were sold within two months recently at Christchurch.
