SHOOTING ACCIDENT.
(Pf.ii Press Association.) Taihape, May 8. While lifting a gun through a wire fence yesterday William Paradihe, a roadman, had his riirlit forearm shattered. Tt is suppesed that the hammer caught in the wire. Fortunately Dr Boyd was near at hand and rendered first aid. Even if the arm can be saved, there is little hope of the man using the hand again.
