WAITAKI ACCLIMATISATION SOCIETY.

The monthly meeting of the Couneil of the Waitaki Acclimatisation Society, held last night, was attended by Messrs Glen (president), Swinard, Sinclair, M'Pliail, Sumpter, Duncan, . Gunn, Jones, Familton, Farr, and Mackintosh. It was decided that the subject of arriving at a decision on the question of the payment for shag's heads be remitted for consideration to the annual meeting of the United Council of the two societies. The Minister for Internal Affairs forwarded a Gazette notification regarding tlirt shooting season. On tho motion of Messrs Jones and Sinclair it was decided that 100,00Q brown trout ova be obtained from the Government hatcheries.
