Doreen is ari;ex-inniate of the Burnham Industrial School. •..At the Supreme Court, in the afternoon, a verdict of guilty was returned in the case of. Pua Babbington and N"aroaroa Nuku Nuku, charged with cuttle. stealing. .David Wright, chnrged with assault on an old man uaiiicd Edward Hogan, was also found guilty. A list (if 25 previous convictions was handed in, and the accused was sentenced to 12 months' imprisonment with hard labor, and an additional three years of reformative treatment. The case of James Behash, an Assyrian hawker, chnrged with rape, is proceeding.
