SUNK THROUGH CARELESSNESS.

(Per Press Association.) Wellington, January 22. The tug Pilot, which sank at her moorings at the Ferry wharf a week ago, was raised last evening by means of derricks, pumping operations having failed. It was found that the vessel was undamaged, her sinking being due to a seacock left open.
