The annual general meeting of shareholders of: the Oamaru Woollen Factory Co., Ltd., will bo held in the Athenajum ChessrOom on Monday next, 12th inst.. at 8 p.m. In connection with the sports night concert at the Waitaki Boys' High School on Tuesday a special train, to convey guests, will leave Oamaru at 7.30 p.m., returning after the concert. The annual prize distribution and breaking-up 'ceremony in connection with the. Waitaki High Schools takes place in the Opera House on Wednesday evening, 7th. inst. A general invitation is extended to parents and others to be present. The half-yearly meeting of the North Otago Christian Endeavour Union' will be held in Columba Church to-morrow night. The Rev. W. J. Williams will give an address, entitled "A Model Endeavour Society." Everybody is cordially invited. Tlie opening sale at the Tattersall's Auction Rooms will be held on the 17th inst. A large amount of Christmas poultry will be offered.
