Queen street, and made a search. It is alleged that they found there instruments of gaming and books which appear to be records of betting transactions. Alf. Adams and Charles Philpott were arrested on a charge of keeping a common gaming house, and George Kevin (clerk) with assisting in the management of a gaming house at Evan and De Groen's. Alf. De Groen was arrested on a similar charge, and Harry Nicoll charged with assisting. Sis j other persons were charged with being found in a common gaming house. '
