TERRITORIAL TRAINING CAMP.

(Per Press Association.) Christchurch, October i>. The question of the site for the South Island training camp for the territorials r.nno before the South Waimakariri RiVcr Board to-day. A letter was reeeived from the Commissioner of Crown Lands, which" stated that the Government proposed in return for reserves to be taken from the Board, the annual rental of which is £673, to vest, in the Board, the following runs: Castle Hill, 33,800 ~acres; Cora Linn. 30,200 acres; and Glenthonie, 25,000 acres, the rentals-of which amount to £6BO per annum.
