ST. PAUL'S SALE OF WORK.

If the St. Paul's Church sale of work, which was opened this afternoon by Mr D. Patterson, is not remarkably successful the members of the Ladies' Guild will have cause for great wonder. Not only have they with commendablo industry produced a fine array of work; but tlioy have arranged it 011 the stalls in a most attractive and tempting style. Tlio stalls have been_ most tastefully decorated either with light colored cloth or with greenery, and the general effect is very pleasing. The lollie stall with white and blue .arches is particularly pretty and an artistic decorativo effect has been achieved in the arrangement of the flower stall.

In the stalls containing the work of the Ladies' Guild there-'is much to interest lady buyers;''and ladies who are authorities oh such matters state that the prices 011 the articles for sale are as low as the work itself, is highly attractive.
