CRICKET.
(Per Press Association.) Wellington, September 27_. At the annual meeting of the Wellington Cricket Association a letter from Mr E. H. Williams, Hawke's Bay, suggesting the removal of the headquarters of the Cricket Council from Christchurch to Wellington was considered. A resolution favoring the proposal was rejected, and the Association resolved to support the retention of the headquarters at Christchurch.
