The House of Representatives carried a clause iii the Arbitration Bill which removes the restriction on the application of the funds of an organisation to political purposes. Received August"G, at 1.5 a.m. Melbourne, August fi. The Arbitration Bill was amended, making it optional for a Judge' of the Court to order preference for unionists instead of mandatory. ' Received August 6, at"9.40 a.m. Melbourne, August 6. The Arbitration Bill lias passed through committee. An amendment providing that no lawyers or specially paid officers be admitted to the Court without the consent of all parties was carried. "
