A VICAR'S RETIREMENT.
(Per Press Association.) Hastings, July 13. Tho Rev. .lolln llobbs, for twenty years vicar of Hastings, lias resigned, owing to declining health. lie was presented last night with a purse of 800 sovereigns and an illuminated address. Presentations were also made, to Mrs and Miss Hobhs. He retires to Napier for a few months, and then resumes spiritual work.
