THE CROPS IN CANADA.

The Canadian Northern Pacific Railway is dismissing 3500 emplo3 T ees owing to the shortage of the crops. Copious rains have fallen in the Middle West States. .Tlie .Daily Mail's Winnipeg correspondent reports that eight and a-half million acres are under wheat and other grain, and those in touch with the crop conditions estimate the yield in Western Canada at one hundred million bushels. A little rain hgs fallen in the last week, and the conditions may be worse. Coarse, grains •-promise a better yield than wheat.
