ANOTHER CYCLING ACCIDENT.

To the Editor. Sir,—Yesterday afternoon about ,4.30 as a lady was walking on the west side path of the North Road several cyclists raced past her at an excessive speed and one ran into her, knocking her down into the mud. If she had been thrown into the ditch on the other side the consequences might have been very serious. As it is, she is suffering considerable pain from the blow as well as the shock of the accident. My object in writing is to caution riders to have some consideration and decency of feeling and to go slow if they must use the footpath when the roads r>re so muddy. Trusting that all cyclists will take notice of this warning and be more carefid in future, and thanking you in anticipation,—l am, etc., D. PATTERSON.
