XHE MATTER of a Bill intituled "An Act to authorise and empower the Oamaru Harbour Board to effect a Compromise with the Holders of Debentures issued under the provisions of "The Oamaru Harbour Board Ordinance Amendment Act, and "Tho Harbours Act, IS7S." and to raise a Loan for the purpose of carrying into effect the :-.;id Compromise and for the pur:osc* of Redeeming all other Loans : the said Board. To authorise the Board to raise a Loan of £225,000 for the following purposes, namely (a) To carry into effect the said Agreement and pay all moneys and interest pavablo thereunder; and (b) To inablo the Board to redeem all us other loans.
