JUNCTION YARDS. Messrs Bruce Christie and Co. report on their weekly,stock sale at the Junction Yards yesterday as under:—Owing to the wet weather the attendance was small, and there was also a small yarding of stock. Cattle. —C4ood 3 to 5-year-old bullocks are scarce, and arc worth £5 15s to £6 15s, 2-year-old steers and heifers £3 5s to £3' los, 18-moutlis-old steers and heifers 32s fid to 355, yearlings 20s to 255, calves 10s to 15s, store cows 25s to 355, bulls (potters) t £2 to £2 10s.

Dairy cows and heifers, just at profit, are in good demand. Best cows (at profit) sold at £7 10s to £lO, medium sorts (at profit) at £5 10s to £O, aged cows (in milk) 93s to £3. WAIAREKA YARDS. The Associated Auctioneers report having held their usual weekly sale at the above yards yesterday, wlien a small yarding of stock came forward. The yarding was comprised chiefly of fat sheep of medium quality, and the demand throughout was good, and satisfactory prices were obtained. Owing, no doubt, to the inclemency of the weather, the attendance, was smaller than usual. Sheep.—7oo penned. Fat wethers passed at 17s 9d. fat ewes (good quality) 15s Od, medium ewes lis to lis 3d', fat lambs 14s 9tl, fat merino wethers lis to 12s, store, hoggets 12s, store wethers passed 12s lid.
