We are asked to remind member's of the Borough Council of the important special meeting called for to-morrow evening, at 7.30, to strike the year's rates. The business is purely formal and will' occupy only a few minutes. That portion of the Duntroon Domain known as the Caledonian Grounds will be closed to the public to-rnorrow. The function will now take place on June 23rd. The weekly football fixtures will be played to-morrow, commencing at 10 a.m. On the Caledonian Ground the Athletic first fifteen meet a respective team from the Excelsior. The same clubs will supply second fifteens for. the game- on the .Takaro Park at the same hour.
