(Per Press Association.) AVanganui, May 22. The Governor is paying a farewell visit to Wiingamii. lie arrived by special train yesterday afternoon. 11l tlie evening a well-attended public meeting was held, when his Excellency was presented with a gold fountain pen to commemorate the part he has played in signing various proclamations »nd deeds connected with Wanganui's municipal history. To-day the Governor was taken for a motor trip. H<? leaves in tho morning.
Feildiug, May 22. Lord Plunket paid a farewell visit here yesterday, and received an address from the Mayor and residents.
