NOTES.

The Pukaki sailed at midnight last night for Westport direct after having discharged 300 tons of Westport coal. The Kaiapoi is due at Oamaru from Lyttelton to-morrow to load for Auckland. The Wanaka is announced to load at Oamaru on Saturday for Napier, Gisbome, and Auckland. Arrangements are practically completed for the hiring of the s.s. Purau by the Oamaru Harbor Board for the use of the Tiniaru Harbor Hoard as :i tug whilst the hitters dredge is employed at Oamaru. It is expected that the dredge will he here early next week. The Kotuku sailed from Greymouth yesterday morning for Oamaru direct, :uid should reach here on Saturday.
