Wellington, November 29. A Featherston message states that a fire started in Lust's kerosene store, owned by E. 11. Saunders, and spread to Waters' bakery. Both were totally destroyed. Saunders and Co.'s premises were just saved. The loss is heavy in both cases. The insurances arc: Lust, £2OO on the stock (heavy) in the South British; Saunders, £175 on the building in the Northern ; Waters', none on the furniture, stock not ascertainable. Waters' own building.
