At an inquest oil tlie body of Robert Gunn M'Donald, who died in the hospital as the result of injuries received at a sawmill, the jury returned a verdict that Robert Gunn M'Donald died as tho result of being struck on the forehead by the handle - of a winch which he was working, through the log he was shifting accidentally slipping. The "following rider was added: The jury" consider that for the safety of 'employees all sawmill winches should be provided .with a safety-check. Eketahuna, November 30.
