OAMARU HARBOR BOARD.

The monthly meeting of the Board was held to-day, there being present — Messrs Milligan (chairman), Lane, Corrigall, "White, Rose, Paterson, Williams, Brown, Mackay, Wylie, M'Culloch, and Gardiner. Captain W. F. Blunt, commanding H.M.S. Pioneer, wrote as follows:. —"I have the honor to request that my sincere thanks may be conveyed to the members of the Oamaru Harbor Board for their courtesy in allowing H.M. ship under my command to lie alongside Holmes wliarf during her stay at Oamaru.
