The wheat and flour afloat for the United Kingdom total 2.120,000 quarters, and for the Continent 1,800,000; Atlantic shipments 350,000, Pacific 400,000. Silver, 23\d per oz. Wool. —Good sale; ordinary faulty sorts about 5 per cent, below September rates.

WOOL SALES. (Per Pkess Association".) Napier, November 30. The second wool sale of the season opened this morning with a very strong total, 12,700 bales being catalogued. The attendance of buyers represented every section of trade, and competition was exceedingly keen. The wool for the most part was well groomed and in splendid condition, but some small lots were badly classed and suffered in consequence. In the morning sales showed a general rise in all wools suitable for America of Id as compared with the first sale, and of from id to id for lot's taken by Bradford, Continental, and other buyers. This morning sales of halfbred went up to 14d, crossbred—fine to 13Jd, medium to 12d, coarse to lOld, pieces to Sd, bellies 7d. locks 4d, crossbred dead 7d, lambs 9Jd. PROPERTY SALE. Messrs J. D. Familton and Sons report having sold, on account of the trustees in tlie estate of the late M. Mackie, i-acre freehold, with 5-roomed dwelling, to a client, at a satisfactory figure. DUNEDIN MARKETS. Messrs Dalgetv and Co. (Ltd.) report as follows:—We held bur usual weekly aucti'oii sale of grain and produce at our stores on Monday, when we offered a goo'd catalogue to a fair attendance of buyers. Bidding was hot animated, but "we cleared most of our catalogue at prices as under: — Oats.—Shippers are not keen buyers, and only take anything exceptionally good that is offered within late quotations:—Prime milling Gartons, Is Sjd to is Did; prime milling Sparrowbills, Is 8d to Is 9d; inferior to medium, to Is 6d per bushel (sacks extra). •Wheat—The market is unchanged. Millers, will take any lines of prime milling, particularly velvet, offering at quotations, but are not keen operators: Prime, milling, 4s 4d to 4s sd: medium to goodj 4s to 4s 2d; best whole fowl wheat, ,3s lOd to 4s Id; inferior and smutted, 2s 6d to 3s 6d per bushel (sacks extra). -Potatoes.—Demand is considerably slacker; prices have accordingly eased slightly. Only the best samples com-ing-forward met with much inquiry:— Prime freshly-picked, £3 15s to £4;-medium-to good, £3 to £3 10s; inferior, £1 to £2 JOs. Ghhff.—Bright heavy oaten sheaf is readily_ placed at quotations, but medium -is not in great request:—Best oaten sheaf £2 los to £3: extra choice, to £3:2s 6d; medium to good, £2 2s 6d to_£2 12s 6d; inferior and discolored, £1 los to £2 per ton (sacks extra). • Straw.—Oaten, 27s 6d; wheaten, 30s' to- 32s 6d per ton (pressed).
