SHIPPING INQUIRY.

A Court of Inquiry opened this morning in connection with the accident on the Northern Steamship Company's Rarawa, whereby material damage was done to the after boiler on the steamer. On May .27, on the voyage from Onehunga to New Plymouth, as stated, the boiler became overheated owing to shortness of water, and the ; steamer, which at the tihie was carrying a number of passengers,: returned to Onehunga.
