CLOSER SETTLEMENT.
(Per Press Association.) Napier, September 1. The Government has purchased for closer settlement purposes Duff Pros' Clyde Bank Estate at Wairoa. ' The property comprises 9000 acres, is within four miles of the town of Wairoa on the Frasertown road, and is admirably adapted for cutting up.
