CANADA'S GREATEST BAND.

THE KILTIES—TO-MORROW. We remind our readers that tie Kilties, the splendid military band which visited Oamaru a fortnight ago, and which has 6ince continued its triumphal march in various parte of the Dominion, will give two concerts in Oamaru to-morrow —one on the Show Ground at 2 o'clock, and one in the Opera House at 8 o'clock. The afternoon performance is specially arranged to 6uit the convenience of the country-people, who will be able to hear the fine programme and' 6till have plenty of time to catch, their trains. It is an opportunity which should not be missed, as there are few bands like the Kilties in the world. The name "The Kilties" is particularly euphonious, but it is somewhat misleading, as the members of the band: neither wear kilts nor is tie music pipe rmisie. The programme is so prepared as to suit all tastes, with a special emphasis on grand selections of the operatic order which appeal so eloquently to the New Zealand audience. The programme for the evening concert consists of half a dozen selections by the band, instrumental • solos and several clever dances. Seats may be booked at Meldrum'6, where day tickets may also bo obtained. The general opinion exprei«ed by musical peoplo after the last concert of the Kilties in Oamaru was: "The most enjoyable concert I have ever been to."
