FAT LAMBS. EXPERIMENT BY THE MANAGER ND HAWKE'S BAYi'UJvliXAru oI'ATION. With a view to ascertaining the truth or otherwise of certain statements mafic re the profits to be derived from dipping lambs in Quibell's Non-poisonous Liquid Dip prior to putting them on rapo, the following report from Mr M. A. M'Lcod, manager of tn.e North British and Hawko's Bay Puketapu Station, will bo read with interest by sheep-ownere generally—i.e.— ''To Messrs Dalgety and Co. (Ltd), Napier, H.B. * "Dear Sire, "Having heard a great deal about the benefits to ce derived by dipping lambs before putting thom on rapo in Quibell's Non-poisonous Dip, I resolved to provo the assertions made for mj-solf. "I accordingly selected a flock of lambs of uniform quality, and run off one-half the number, which I dipped in Quibell's Liquid as directed; the other half I loft undipped. At the end of a month both lota were sent to the freezing works and killed; the uiulippod lot averaged 311b each and those dipped, as before stat-od, 341b each. "In my opinion the results far more than justify .iiiy claims made for the dip in this direction. The gain on the dipped as compared with the undipped thus shows a nrofit of something like 1500 per cent, on the c<J6t of dipping, including labor, material, etc., a gain, surely, not to bo despised in these days of low prices for wool, etc. Dip your lambs in Quibell's Fluid (nonpoisonous), and you can count on ,1500 per cent, profit on the operation as <»n absolute certainty.
