EAT LAMBS. EXPERIMENT BY THE MANAGER OF THE NORTH BRITISH AND HAWKE'S BAY PUKETAPU STATION. With to ascertaining the truth or otherwise of certain statements mad© ro the profits to be derived from dipping lambs in Quibell's Non-poisonous Liquid Dip prior to putting them on rape, the following report from Mr M. A. M'Leod, manager of the North British and Hawko's Bay Puketapu Station, will bo read with interest by sheep-owners generally—i.e.— "To Messrs Dalgeiy and Co._(Ltd), Napier, H.B. "Dear Sirs, "Having heard a great deal nbont the benefits to be derived by dipping lambs before putting them on rape in Quibell's Non-poisonous Dip, I resolved to prove the assertions made for myself. "I accordingly selected a flock of lambs of uniform quality, and run oil one-half the number, which I dipped in Quibell's Liquid as directed; the other half I left undipped. At the end of a month both lota were sent to the freezing works and killed; the undipped lot averaged 311b each and those dipped, as before stated, 341b each. "In my "pinion the results far more than justifv ■•■: J - claims made for the dip in thi3 direction. "Signed) M. A. M'Lr,oi>." The gain on the dipped as compared with the undipped thus shows a nrofit of something like 1500 per cent, on tho cost of dipping, including labor, material, etc., a gain, surely, not to be despised in these days of low prices for wool, etc. Dip your lambs in Quibell's Fluid (nonpoisonous)-, and you can count on 1500 per cent, profit on the operation as <in absolute certainty.
