Wilson, and Co. (of Wellington), in conjunction with Mr T. Mahdeno Jackson, will sell the new town of Horopito, situated on the Main Trunk railway line; midway between Auckland and Wellington. The sale has created a large amount of interest, not only locally, but especially so in the districts along the trunk line. At the; conclusion of- the Kia Ora- inquiry the Court expressed the highest appreciation of the services rendered- by the settlers, and hoped that their services would be suitably irecognised and rewarded.
