Shooting

The return match of the Otepopo contingent of the North Otago Mounted Rifles versus civilians came off at the Otepopo range on Saturday last. The day was all that could be desired for shooting, and some good scores were made. The shooting on the whole shows a great improvement on the last match, the ranges and conditions being the same. The civilians proved the winners by 12 points, and as each team has won one match it- was do cided to have another match in three weeks, the same ranges and conditions. A very interesting contest is looked for. Following are the scores: —
