(From Our Own Correspondent.) We are beginning to congratulate ourselves that tho spring is with us again. ~Sol that we have any reason to complain of tho weather during the past winter, but having the previous one in mind, we have a nasty, uncomfortable feeling that there may be something unpleasant in store- for us in the way of wind and frost. However, that fear is dispelled now. All the indications point to an early spring. After a long period of waiting the streets and roads in the neighborhood of Ngapara have received the attention of the Council, and we are even going to have the luxury of gravelled footpaths, so we are progressing There is just one other thing we want, and then we may be comparatively happy, and that is a daily train.' If the Hon. J. G. Ward could be induced to come and live here for a week I really think we might obtain it;
