RANGITIKEI RACES. By Telegraph. Marton, September 24. There was fine weather for the second day of the Rangitikei races. The course was in batter condition. The machine for the two days put through £B3BI, against £9355 for the last spring meeting. L. Procter, rider of Ranui, sustained a fractured collarbone and injuries to his face., and was badly shaken. Concluding results : Arataumahi Steeples.—-.Hutana 1, Umslopagaas 2, Opaku 3. The other starter was Scallywag, who ran off. Won easily. Time, 6min fceo. Dividend, £2 14g. Welter Hack.—Nukumartia 1, Good Spec 2, Catspaw 3. Ako ran: Explorer, Domain, Waitatapia, Victoria Park, Nitrate, and Trafalgar. The last three, fell. Won by several lengths. Time, 6min 3 3-sth sec. Dividends, £2 2s and £2 9s.
Hack Steeplechase.—Towlmtu 1, La Belle 2, Eureka 3. Also ran: Rapanui, Kaloo, and Wakawaka. Worn by a good length. Time, lniin 36 4-sth sec. Dividends, £2 13b and £3 lis.
Septsmber_ Handicap.—Perfection 1, Rangitata 2, Hiinekoa 3. Also ran.: Hinetaura, Gold Dust, _ Benefactor, Laura, Blackwing, and Sympathy. Won by a good length, a half head for second places Time, lmin 47-sec. Dividends, £3 and £1 16s. *
Killeymoon Hack.—Stampede 1, Ontario 2, Nukumartia 3. Also ran: Merry Boy and Levant. Won iby half a length. Time> 2min 6sec. Dividends, £2 8s and £2 9s. GERALDINE RACES. By Telegraph.
