Received September 20, at 9.22 a.m. Sydney, September 20. An extraordinary case is now before the Police Court, in which Webb, a dentist, procured the arrest of two men named Cheeseborough and Marshall, occupying good positions in the city, and the sister of the former, on a- charge of having, on 'Friday, caused him to marry Miss Cheeseborough against- his will. The prosecutor alleges that he was seized by the men on Thursday night, and taken to the Civic Club. There he was held prisoner ,and given something to drink which stupified him. They also threatened him with a revolver if he made an outcry. In the morning he was taken to a matrimonial agency and compelled to marry the girl. Immediately after the ceremony he had the parties arrested.
