BACHELORS' BALL AT DUNTROON

Tiii.' baclioloi'K nf Duutroou held a hall in the Defence Hall, Duntioon, on Friday night last, and wore fonunate enough to have beautiful weather. .It had been raining almost all the wni; up lo Friday illuming, when it turned out lino, and the night, although a little dark in tin- absence of the moon, was beautiful. The hall was tastefully decorated with evergreens and Chinese, lanterns, and tlie (stage, on which were the supper tables, looked ehaiming, and helped a. great deal to beautify the hall. The. tables were very neatly laid nut with all. sorts of light refreshments and iloral decorations, and looked .splendid.
