Tlio balance-sliwt showed a net profit for the year of £18,050, but, with £1684 carried forward from M> year the amount available for distribution is £19,734. The largest-prolit was on the merchandise (£21,276). The total turnover £669,487, compared with £393,443 for l-vj year. All the departments show a mark™ inciyase. In the auction department' tw turnover was £514,233, against £185.300 for last year; grain was £191,473, W' l '", £95,237 ; general merchandise, £135.794, against £99,919. Last year the fia'amn for the year totalled £8,371, and the director* foes for the year £430.
