The New Zealand rules of racing will be strictly adhered to. 2. Nominations for Otekaike Handicap, J.C. Handicap, and Trots to reach the Secretary not later than 9 o'clock p.m. on SATURDAY, 12th September, 1903. 3. Acceptances for Otekaike Handicap, J.C. Handicap, and Trots, and also entries for Maiden Plate, District Maiden Hack, Hack Selling, and Kurow District Handicap Hack Race must reach the Secretary by 9 o'clock on SATURDAY, 26th September, 1903. 4. The district for the two Hack Races will be from the Awamoko River to Morven Hills Station on the Otago- side and from Elephant Hill Creek to Mount Cook Station, bounded by the watershed of the Woitaki and Hakataramea Rivers, on the Canterbury side. 5. Owners and horses of the two Hack Races must be in the district three months prior to tie meeting 6. Handicaps to appear in the Oamaru Mail on 23rd September, 1903. 7. Horses not at the post at the advertised time of starting are liable to a fine of Two Guineas, which will be strictly enforced. 8. Nominators to givs previous perform' ances and colors of riders. 9. Horses entered in races Nos. 2, 4, 8, will not be allowed to nominate in events Nos. 1 and 7. 10. The Trotting Races will be run under the rules of the New Zealand Trotting Association. 11.
