SEALED TENDERS will be received at the Chief Post Office, Oamaru, until MONDAY, the sth October, 1903, for the conveyance of mails between the undermentioned places, for a period of Three Years, from the Ist January, 1904, to the 31st December, 1906. POSTAL DISTRICT OF OAMARU. 1. Awamobo Post Office and Railway Station, daily. 2. Duntroon, Maerewhenua, and Livingstone, thrice weekly. 3. Hakataramea, Station Creek, and Rocky Point, and Hakataramea, Station Creek, and Hakataramea Station, returning via Top Road (delivering correspondence where practicable), weekly. 4. Kokoamo and Borton's Siding (delivering correspondence where practicable), daily. §5. Kurow, Wharekuri, and Omaxama, (delivering correspondence where practicable), from Ist May to 31st October, twice weekly; from Ist November to aOth April, thrice weekly. (Alternative to No. 5a.) §sa. Kurow, Wharekuri, and Omaraaia (delivering correspondence where practicable), twice weekly. (Alternative to No. 5.) §6. Omarama, Benmore Station, and Lake Pukaki (delivering correspondence where practicable), from Ist November to 30th. April, weekly; Omannna and Benmore Station only fronj Ist May to 31st October, weekly. 7. Maheno and Licholme, twice weekly. (Alternative to No. 8.) 8. Maheno and Incholme, thrice weekly. (Alternative to No. 7.) 9. Maheno and Kakanui, daily. . 10. Oamaru Post Office and Railway Station, as required. The lowest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted. The attention of intending tenderers : s directed to the terms and conditions of contract printed at the back of the tender forms. Successful tenderers will be required to show that they are in a position to satisfactorily carry out the services. ' Contractors whose tenders may be accepted must be prepared to carry out the services for which. they tender according to time-tables framed by the Department. Where the tender is over £SOO for any one service, the attention of the tenderer -is directed to clauses 26 and 26a of the terms and conditions. Forms of tender, with the terms and conditions of contract, may be procured at anv post office. No tender will be considered unless made on the printed form.
