Sydney, January 6. ;At a meeting called by advertisement: the' Rev/ Tremayne Dunstan explained that the reason that led to his departure was, subsequent, to his return to Australia, the financial difficulty arising in connection with the establishing of a church in Westralia .when he first came to Australia., and gradually increased through his haying to : pay exorbitant interest. The burden became so intolerable that it led to the fatal blunder of his leaving under the belief that he could recover himself by a lecturing tour in America. When he realised the blunder he decided to return and face the situation. He stated that his total indebtedness was under £3OOO. .He believed hecould clear himself. He. complained of harsh treatment by. his New SouthrWales congregation, and repudiated the charges of and trickery current in certain quarters. , He said he had blundered, but was not guilty of intentional acts' of dishonesty.
