(by telegraph. ) Wellington, April 17. {Japtain Strang, who for the past 2£ years has been acting as marine superintendent of the Union Company in_place of Captain Cameron, has been appointed travelling marine superintendent for New Zealand, Australia, and Tasmania. The work has increased of late so much, particularly in Tasmania, that though Captain Cameron has now resumed his duties, it is found necessary to appoint an assistant. Wellington will be Captain Strang's headquarters. He 'WJIi leave fbr Sydney in a fortnight!.
