The Houdan section created great competition, and the quality in three of the classes was first-class. .Leghorns made a grand show, and the pens contained some of the finest birds ever seen in New Zealand. The section for Andalosiana s waa well represented by the best yards in the South Island. There wa3 good quality in Orpingtons. The bantam section made a big show, and was the finest for quality ever held in Oanwru, which says a great deal.
