At the meeting of the National Council of Women a paper was road by Mrs Gibson on "The Training of Domestic Servants " Tho following resolution proposed by Mrs Kirkby and seconded by Mrs Taskor wbb passod : " That in the opinion of this Council domestic servants should be legally entitled to a weekly half-holiday." Mrs Sievwright read a paper on "Parental Responsibilities" in the evening which evoked a discussion.
