A fast passenger train will leave Oamaru for Dunedin at 4.25 p m, Maheno 4.53 p.m, Herbert 5.6 p.m, Hampden 5.31 p.m, falmeraton 6.20 p.m, Waikouaiti 6.45 p.m, Seacliff 7.15 p.m, Waitati 7-35 p.m, arriving Dunedin 8.30 p.m. This train will only stop at the stations named to pick up or set down passengers, and at Upper Port Chalmers to set down passengers. An Excursion Train will leave Dunedin for Christchurch at 10.35 pm, Waitaki 11.33 p m, Seacliff 11.57 p.m, Waikouaiti 12.18 a.m, Palmerston 12.45 a.m, Hampden 1.28 a.m, Maheno 2 3 a.m, Oamaru 2.35 a.m, arriving Chrißtchurch 8 50 a.m. on 25th December. This train will stop at the stations named only to pick up, and other stations where required to set down, passengers from North of Oamaru. MONDAY, 26th DECEMBER. CALEDONIAN SPORTS AT WAIMATE. THE train usually leaving Oamaru for Timaru at 7-20 a.m. will not leave until 7-40 a.m., Pukeuri 7-59 a m. OAMARU GARRISON BAND PICNIC AT MOERAKI. Excursion trains will leave Oamaru for Hillgrove at 8-45 a.m. and 9-30 am, Maheno 9-30 a.m. and 10-15 a.m., Herbert 9 52 a.m. and 10-35 a.m., returning from Hillgrove at 5-50 p.m. at 7 p.m. Excursion fares, including admission to grounds: From Oamaru, Totara, Maheno, 2s 6d; Herbert, 2s 3d. Excursion tickets are available by the trains named only. PALMERSTON RACES. The trains usually leaving Palmerston for Dunback at 11-10 a.m. and Dunback for Palmerston at 3-35 p.m. will not run. Trains will leave Palmerston for Dunback at 11-15 a.m. and spm., returning from Dunback at 12 noon and 6-5 p.m. These trains will stop at the racecourse to pick up and set down passengers. Trains will leave Palmerston for the racecourse at 11-15 a.m., 12-5 p.m. and 1-15 p.m., returning from the race course at 4-30 p.m., 5-55 p.m. and 6-50 p.m. A faßt passenger train will leave Dunedin for Oamaru at 10-20 a.m., Waitati 11-25 a.m, Seacliff 11-52 a.m, Waikouaiti 12-10 p.m., Palmerston 12-40 p.m, Hampden 1-20 p m, Herbert 1-45 p.m., Maheno 1-55 p.m., arriving Oamaru 2-17 p.m.; returning from Oamaru at 4-25 p.m., Maheno 4-53 p.m., Herbert 5-6 p.m,, Hampden 5-31 p.m., Pal merston 6-20 p.m., Waikouaiti 6-45 p.m., Seacliff 7-15 p. m., Waitati 7-35 p. m. These trains will stop at Upper Port Chalmers, Waitati, Seacliff, Waikouaiti, Palmerston, Hampden, Herbert, and Maheno only. The fare Palmerston to Racecourse will be Is.
